The gauge is reproduction unit from MAC's. Is a non electric capillary tube design.

36 Ford PU cowl vent screen installation

I bought a new screen from MACs that is supposed to fit my 36 Pickup. It appears to be too big to fit down in properly to allow vent to open and close freely.
Anyone experienced anything similar?
