What size rims came on a 39 Mercury 15 inch or 16 inch I assume it would be one or the other. Also where id the cheapest place to buy wheel bearings for it i want to make it where i can roll it around

These are very cool! I think my merc had a Ford hub cap on it it just says V8 on it and shows the wheel dimples

Not that I want to get off subject but what is a running 39 Mercury worth ? I have a chance to buy one running and driving and it comes with a parts car which in my opinion is pretty worn!

I'll have to look again but I'm afraid that top plate isnt there and the bottom one is unreadable

Not sure what number my car is the number is gone from the transmission and the motor is long gone but the papers that say the motor number if that is what you are talking about

Hey everyone I was working on some of my projects today and was curious how rare is a 39 Mercury ? I have a 4 door 39 and was wondering how rare they are today and how many were made in 39

Yes the Mercury is a wide five wheel I want to change over to the 5 lugs that ford used in their trucks from 1948 up until 1996 I can use old style wheels from an early f1 or f100 that way and I get...

Thank you for your help I dropped the old axle today and it was a lot easier than i thought it would be im going to open it up sometime and see what kind of shape it is in and if anyone would want...

I am wanting to replace the rear axle in my 39 Mercury with a newer ford rear axle. Does anyone know which axle would be a close fit? I have an 92 F150 rear end i thought about using if it will work...

What will work in a 39 Mercury from a Ford? It dosent have to look correct just work like it should. Examples are door latches and window regulators, knobs handles etc..

Will the headlight glass from a 39 ford fit a 39 Mercury? I keep seeing on Ebay glass for the Mercury but it says they are the same is this true?

I understand the Mercury is longer than the Ford but will the 39 ford door patch panel work if I add on to it ?
