Chris have you worked on the gears and mechanics to get the bed raised up yet ?? Maybe build a mockup safety bar to lock it in place if you ever do raise it up ?? Or even just for looks at a car show...

The longer you keep that ol truck, the more new refurbished parts she'll have and soon enough she'll be like new off the assembly line. That's how my Model "A" is lookin.

Chris since you have water inside your shop, do you have that area concrete sloped to a drain too ???? I would think you'd prefer to keep the inside dry and not have standing water anywhere.

Chris, keep practicing with junk spare parts to cut, weld, fill and sand then paint and scuff them up and see how close to original you can get. This might be the way to go with those doors. If...

Chris the service bulletins and the chassis parts book are great resources!! ….. maybe you need a little break from that old '32 and have some fun making syrup. There will be plenty of on-line orders...

Another website "Macs Auto Parts" might have those rubber strips. I got them for my '33 and it will help seal up the bottom of the doors against the cab floor. They slide in a special channel...

I agree with David and others to try to leave the door "as-is" ….. is there any way to try some bondo work on the inside of the door ?

Over on the Model "A" side of this forum there is a really nice long thread with hundreds of photos of commercial "A"s and there are even '32 dually dumps like yours. Some had nice mud flaps...

I would only keep the rear window if it still has the FORD etching in the corner of a manufacture date. My pickup has 5/33 date stamp for May, 1933. The frame number dates to the same time frame.

Get the "1932 Ford Service Bulletins", if you don't have them already. Look on-line eBay has them from book dealers. The fuel gauge has 4 or 5 pages detailing how it's all set up as David...

My truck could have been used for general hauling, wood, tools or shop runs. It had no body/frame damage but lots of surface rust. Nothing is rotted out and the wood bed is very nicely...
