I located the rubber joint at the bottom of the rear window.


1/4 windows I used the one piece rubber seal design from Drake.


The seal between the rubber seal and the body I used 3M black...

deuce lover is correct, the 35 and 36 Ford ignition switch on position is down. 37 Ford changed to the on position up.


Also if your switch works in the up position, then you have the wrong...

I also believe that the bolt spacing for the sender is such that is will only go into the tank one way. Experience is with 36 Ford 5W Coupe.

Just to clarify the Drake kit shown is for the latch on the headlight trim ring and not the head light bucket itself.

While you are turning the handle down, apply pressure on the latch bar against the spring tension. Same on install or else the handle shaft may not want to go into the latch.

According to the 35-36 Ford Book page 156, the crossover wire for the tail lights attaches to the rear edge of the gas tank using B-14565 clips.

I believe the reproduction roof bows are made from hard maple and not the inexpensive wood that Ford used originally. Adding the screw would only help in my opinion.

I have seen those wood screws for coupes and sedans as well. I believe that the location is at the curve of the wood bow and the wood grain is straight, so the screw I believe is to reduce the...
