Re: Help, Valuation of a 1930 5 window coupe

I'm looking for a 30-31 coupe project. When you figure out what your price is, let me know. I have to admit over the last few years I've become a skeptic. Anything I can't hear, see, or feel work I...

Re: Taking my F1 out on an errand

It's really nice to have it so street-able now after three years. There are still lots of things that need attention. The only lights are stop lights, nothing else yet, no wipers either. The goal is...

Taking my F1 out on an errand

Hello Ford Barn,

I haven't been around the forums for a while so thought I'd make a little video of a run into town to pick up some propane. It's now sporting early 80's wheels from a E-150 while...

Model A Pickup bodywork

I've posted links to earlier parts of this project, this is a very good one. The guy uses a lot of profanity but works miracles with a hammer and dolly.

Interesting old car remnants

I've recently moved, there is a wooded area next to my property. Found this 100 feet away from my house. Anyone know what it is?

Re: Strange Transmission Modification

Unfortunately, I can't see much of a reason to keep this in my "collection". Can't see much of any use for anything...

Re: Strange Transmission Modification

It appears that the only functions are straight through like normal third gear, and reverse engaged and not engaged. And reverse is either 1 to 1 or very close.

Re: Strange Transmission Modification

I know it's hard to see, but notice the center of the cluster has been machined off.

Strange Transmission Modification

I've been in the process of moving and going through my old car stuff. I had this spare transmission and was looking it over to see if it was worth a hoot and noticed the strange large gear welded on...

I'm getting there, slow but sure.:) I saw that you were out to the tractor/steam show, I would've stopped and said hello but we were in the middle of moving and didn't make it this year. I love that...

Re: 8BA oil pan, pump questions

I just went through this. There is a gasket on the inside as well. Really a lot of crud inside the pan, almost couldn't tell the ring and studs were a separate part from the pan. I think these tend...

I'm hardly any expert but I'd help out if I can. I'm sure all the guys on the barn would like to see your project.

Re: 8BA Flywheel/Clutch....I've Read TOO Much

Just a quick follow up, I finally have my F-1 put back together enough to drive it and the clutch works great and no excessive vibration that I can detect. Only been up to 50 MPH however.:)
