Has anyone ever taken a good set of spokes from an early large demountable wheel, cut them down with new tenons, and fitted them to a late smaller demountable rim? I would assume it's possible given...

Am with wmws. During the time it was giving fits, it seemed everything was rather hot under the hood and though I didn't have an IR temperature gun on me, the water seemed to have neared the boiling...

Timing gear slipped a tooth. Put an aluminum cam gear on
It runs fine now.

Is vented. Had cap off many of the times it's done this and see filter is clean.
