The short harness wires and the closeness to the the painted dash make soldering a challenge. I'm letting the project rest a bit and then will get after it again. Thanks

In the old KB-50, I have lost one round motor and one stove pipe. Kept on going. Another flight they lost a jet engine (over water). The pilot did not notice until the fighter he was refueling...

Every time I start it, there is a backfire up thru the carb. Could I have a burnt valve of maybe carbon on the valve seat?
