The taper threaded screws (and their special tap) sold I think by lock and stitch will sure work if the area is accessible for drilling and tapping. Had a '57 392 Chrysler fixed this way outside...

I see under manage attachments we can attach pdfs up to 9.54 Mb - which is a good size drawing file. Freeware such as Draft Sight deals with Autocad style dwg files and these can be plotted to pdf...

The walls are nominally .250" thick at standard bore looking at the block drawing. I.E., the foundry cores were made to create an outside diameter of 4 3/8".

As mentioned above, the siamesed wall...

The crank is offset .125" from the cylinder center lines. It is closer to the valves by this amount.

Twin disc clutches were extensively used on machine tools. I expect this was some sort of "industrial" power plant.
