Well replacing the rear main seal I found a real mess. it Took heck of an effort to get out the 1/2 seal above the crank. It was loaded with black RTV. I spent a couple of hours running fine...

Torque when wrench won't fit.

The upper ball joint on my 64 Galaxie does not have enough clearance to fit a torque wrench and socket. This is a 7/8 nut needing 60-90 ft'lbs of torque.
