Thanks, sounds straight forward. The whole car is stripped right now for body work so nothing in the way. Good to know not hard as it will be lot easier refinishing the dash once out then trying to...

Depends on what you are looking for. I got some rear discs for the mustang at rock auto and so far so good. For the 56 I have been buying stuff from Dennis Carpenter and so far great stuff.

Air intake sealer

What do you use for sealer around the freash air intake tube? Looked like old tar that I scraped off. Hard as a rock.

couple pics of mine. there are about 15 pits on it so really not all that bad, i guess. Anyway it is flat horizontally and slightly curved vertically.

rebuilt my 351C with intentions to quickly install it. Well life got in the way and it has been sitting for over 20 years. I dumped about 10 quarts of oil in the pan put a little in each cylinder....

Dave thanks for the pics. This is the one in concours catalog. Cannot tell if it is flat or not. Will have to see what the one I have is.

OK Concours has one listed they say is for the sedan delivery part number tho is different. They list it as BF 7043522 A which is not even a Ford number. May be just their part number but do not want...

First car I bought was a 57 Fairlane. Came with auto but said the hell with that and got a change over from a wrecking yard. They were plentiful then. Was easy swap other then getting the auto out....
