Great to know. Engine has 2 1 barrel carbs, headers, 3/4 race cam, dual point distributor and milled head so have about 125 H.P. to locked up rear end. Transmission should hold up to this. Exhibition...

O.K. So from a V-8 or 4 cylinder? Now if it dose not work I can secure parts for it. Attached to a 1949 226 H engine. Been sitting since mid 1970's. Took it apart cleaned it up and reassembled it....

Transmission identification
Hi I have a Ford top loader transmission in a race car. ID number on bell housing is 18-74274427. It has the slant top shift tower on it now. Is this a 1934 transmission? Thanks.

O.K. Great Thanks. I saw the car it came out of and it was a 1932 Coupe. The guy was installing a V-8 in it and said motor needed attention. What that means???

Hi All. Got the engine out. Noticed a C stamped on the cylinder head with a small stamped C116 right in front on top of cylinder head. No stamping numbers on pad where you would expect a number....
