Spring Spreader / Snyders

Hi all,

I am selling my rear spring spreader from Snyders. Part number A-5302, you can see it on their site. Used once, worked great. Very well made, heavy duty tool. I don't need it anymore....

My police head with a B stamped on it was TOTALLY worth it! The C head takes a different water pump. IMO I wouldn't use it.

I would suggest that if you don't have a weird passion for the 4-banger, don't go with it. You'll end up spending more money for probably less speed...

30 Tudor Rear Seatbelt Suggestions?

Anyone put seatbelts in the rear of their Tudor? What did you anchor them to, or how did you add brackets?

Mine came apart and flow off the car while I was driving through a park. No one was hurt thank God! REPLACE IT! Or, find out for yourself the hard way.

My m/c is the one that is mounted to a new battery box. Great system, bolted right in.

However (and this issue is now a 3 page string on the HAMB) I have to pump the brakes once to get full...

Les Andrew's book 2 walks you through it completely. The rear drums also need to be machined down, as well as the backing plates.

Hmmmmm. Sounds like rat rod is the new hot rod term. We "most of us anyway" hate the term and get pissed if someone calls our beloved car a rat rod. (Read the link above for this to make sense)

I seriously can't believe the difference the head made. I'm not looking to hot rod around at all, but just climb hills at an acceptable speed. I love it!

However, it seems to idle faster. Does that sound right? When I pull the timing lever down till it starts to run bad, and then back...
