Poolplayer are you reading the dash gauge or a separate gauge cluster? If you are using the stock Dash gauge, how did you hook it up?

I need to install a resistor between my Dash Gauge to my 302...

I found the Torque Value listed placed too much pressure? on the square or round pads of today's material. They oversquished? so I used a lower Torque value.

Found one leather , Noise reducer? Friction reducer stuck to the bottom of my spare tire well. Looking down through the well, it was placed on the R side above the opening for the fuel lever sender....

Dropped the Frankenwagen fuel tank yesterday, discovered a few things.

The fuel sender has the incorrect Ohm Range.../340 vs /10, now why install a wrong sender? Ordered the correct one today.

Question. Is it possible to remove tank w/o removing filler neck?
I'd rather remove the neck once the tank is out.
Possible to maneuver past the frame rail and lower pan?

I put a thread gauge on it, 20" with 1/2" Nut.
It also looks like the flare end on tank may be corroded.
The tank is a repro tank, perhaps the tank sat out prior to being sold?

Well, well, should have taken a look at the picture sooner.
Perhaps a burr about 1 and perhaps corrosion on take itself at 9.

Taking tank out soon, Holidays will probably interefer with repair....

I believe Radials were invented in 1946.

Being that my car Year is 56, were radials readily used or were bias ply tires?...It is a Ford, going with bias tires.

Raise one right front wheel off the ground, grab wheel by 9 and 3 o'clock and see if there is a lot of movement. Take a look at the Idler Arm to determine if the rubber bushings are kaput. Tell me...
