Loosen of the stop light switch at the MC, Set your air gauge at 40 then with a bunched up rag in the oil fill hole and the MC 3/4 full place the gun in the centre of the rag and give it a few...

Just something to try Get a rag and stuff it in the top of the master cylinder and use a air gun on it...

I was going to say it feeds oil into the mechanism of the pump as you fill it but I think its more likely to stop water running down and freezing the push rod,

plus x 10s bearings they show a wall thickness of 115 t/-
Are you Shure your crank is plus 20 ,a std crank is 1.999 , less 10 or 20 if you have ground it

It looks like your bearings are around 4 x thou ? thou over size on the od, you could get your rods re sized to fit ,

The pin is not really a precision item ,we did a 29 Chrysler that the shift was all over the place ,we migged up the sides of the slot then recut it with a cut of wheel, nice shift after that

Plus two with 34PKUP .The electric fans have there own shroud built in ,a fabricated shroud is best used on the original fan I think Walker Radiator has a plastic one ,a electric fan blocks air flow...

Not sure if this will help but, Good advice above plenty of lube and a press ,,The one we did would need a pretty big press, that we didn't have ,It was a 39 and took about 6 hrs . Had to remove...

I believe they are the same box, 18 to one shaft on the 40 is 49" not sure on the 47,you could cut the shaft down though ,
