Re: '36 Coupe Tail Pan Question

I am very happy with the tail pan I used. The body I had was gone in the back, so I used the tail pan as a point to fabricate to. That being said, I don't know how it would fit an almost complete...

Re: '32 Roadster reverse eye springs

Zenith Spring made a reversed eye main leaf for my 35. They are in Duluth Mn. I think they charged about $35 two years ago. Great people to deal with.

If you are looking for an alternative, try a pump from an '86 Mazda pickup. Internally regulated, inexpensive, and easy to find at the local parts store.

Re: Floor repair advice request

The most important part is to be sure you have killed all of the rust. Drilling the holes slightly bigger should get you into more solid metal as well. All metal is just body filler with metal flakes...

Re: 5 sp. trans

If the throw of the shifter on any s-10 is too long check out the Langdon Stove bolt Chevrolet website ( yeah I know) for a downloadable PDF on how to shorten it. Easy and inexpensive.

Re: Power steering.

I have a power box from an s-10 on my 36. A "z" box is what you would want because it's only about 3 1/2 turns lock to lock. They also came on Camaros and Firebirds. Should be a direct bolt in.
