Re: 1936 floorboard screws

And yes of couse it's "to each his own" as you always seem to wind up saying here on most of these debate type posts. It's not always about being correct for judging purposes. For me, It's about...

Re: 37 engine in 34 truck

I agree with what tinker is saying. That 37 engine should drop right in your truck with the correct components transfered...such as the correct 34 front motor mounts/water inlets, 33-36 heads with...

Re: Trany Problems

As others posting have already mentioned, your transmission must come out of the car to fix this problem.
When making this repair you may want to consider upgrading your transmission to the later,...

Re: 1939 Ford Transmission DON'T......

Re: 32 brake cross shaft bushings

One suggestion would be to see if you can find one that's NOS. We found one at Hershey a few years ago. Checking with the above mentioned suppliers might turn one up.

I have successfully rebuilt...

Re: "40 gear selection

I've run 4.11, 3.78, and 3.54 rear gears in my '35 fordor sedan, Avatar. I've run all of these rear gear ratios with a stock set 16/28 transmission gears. The car ran well with 4.11 and 3.78, but was...

Re: Motor City Flathead Oil Pump

Re: Who all going to Auburn National Meet???

Steve, If you do these buttons, please consider making some extras. I'm sure other Fordbarners coming to Auburn would love to get one, and would be more than willing to pay you for one.

Re: Are '35 and '36 seat springs interchangeable?

Re: 37 aluminum intake stud replacement

I've always removed the intake carburetor mounting studs by double nutting as mentioned above. Once or twice I've also had to apply some heat to the area around the stud.
