FWIW I run a helmet dizzy rebuilt by 3rd Gen w/11A internals and a 12volt updated coil w/internal resistor, runs like a top. YMMV

My optima is on a c-tek, its 12 yrs old (battery)!!, I drive that car once or twice a year, literally. I use them on power equipment and 5 out of the 7 cars we own that are not daily drivers, YMMV....

I want to tighten up the nut that holds the pittman arm to my 1937 car steering gear box, I don't have a wrench or socket big enough so I mic'ed the nut and it appears to be 1.42" and the conversion...

If you go to ebay and type in the search field "holley 94 spacer" or "stromberg 48 spacer" a list of phenolic and aluminum spacers will pop up and several are drilled to accept a fitting for a vacum...

Awesome, if you concerned about voltage, led replacement bulbs (the purist will revolt!) are much brighter and offer a whiter light for less voltage, IMHO, YMMV
I have all led lighting in my 36 ...
