I too concur that the head puller that MagicBox shows works very well. I have one and it has worked well for me.

Understanding that previously there was not an issue climbing these hills, there has recently been discussion here on the Barn about retarding the spark some when climbing hills. Perhaps this is an...

Re: 1931 right hand side tailamp with license plate lamp

I believe that when one ordered a dealer installed second tail light, it was optional to have either with or without the clear lens on the bottom. Most likely, they were provided without the clear...

Re: Wolf Whistle

The wolf whistle works on the intake side not the exhaust side of the manifold. Shouldn't affect the exhaust. It does momentarily affect the air intake, as you are introducing more air through the...

Re: Front cross member needed badly

We just recently replaced one and did not need to spread the frame at all. We ground off the heads from the original rivets and drove them out. We used a Port-A-Power to hold the bucking bar on the...

Re: Broken bolt on Bendix Spring

The magnet on the end of the flexible extended grabber tool, seems about the easiest to try first. Be sure that the magnetic head is not too large. I just recently took a motor aprt and found 6...

Re: manifold cooker

A number of years back, perhaps 12-15, our club did a manifold cooking tour and it was filmed by Chicago channel 11, "Wild Chicago". The video is about 5-8 minutes long and quite entertaining.... I...

Re: Waterpump lube?
