Re: Anyone know where this box came from?

rotorwrench seems to be on the right track. From what I see and from reading the description, this bed/box looks like it, and many other things, were made for the vehicle.

Re: Pat McFarlane RIP

Pat/Ohio, did you have some history with his Model B?

It looks like his road-buddy Mark might be assisting in sending it down the road. He's a good-un' too!

Re: Pat McFarlane RIP

I also remember Pat as a huge figure in our hobby.

Re: Macs Customer service

This is taking a left turn. But Michael is so into parts that he knows their numbers like I know the times tables up to twelve. Probably he knows about ten thousand of them. Going through a swap...

Re: LB block repairable (or can it be)?????

Car guys have done some really stupid and expensive things in the last hundred and twenty years. CAN it be saved? Of course! Should it be saved? Hmmm. Pics might help, but realistically until the...

Greetings and Welcome!

Clicking on the name f1builder took me to his profile. He hasn't been on the Barn since Dec '18. Sadly trying to send him a Personal Message probably won't be too...

Re: Macs Customer service

I have no experience using Mac's, hence no bad reports, but it's scary to look at the V-8 Times and see their double page add right where the magazine is stapled together.

I have said too many...

Re: 35 Coupe oil pan removal

Hi Everyone! Since you're not getting much help, I'll kick in what I've read here.

I've never tried it so... They say the crankshaft will foul the pan unless it's rotated to provide clearance...

Re: Ford flathead V8 i.d. please type ☆B18F☆

Okay, now we can handle this I think.

The B18F seems to decode as right hand drive and not a passenger vehicle, if it were on a frame. BUT that wouldn't really be stamped on an engine block,...

Re: Check out this period foto 32 Phaeton

Let's submit this is a posed photo. Agree the rear window behind the driver's head is too close and improperly shaped for a Phaeton's passenger rear curtain if installed.

So why try to promote...

Re: Ford flathead V8 i.d. please type ☆B18F☆

Do the Dutch authorities register vehicles on engine numbers only? Have you called ahead and got an idea of what they're interested in seeing?

I'd try to register it as a 1932 Ford. I'd play...
