Re: Ford Script Distributor Body

Did you try setting the timing on the Script distributor? Or, did you just drop it into the head?

Any electronic experts out there

By any chance, are you using an electronic flasher?

I had a similar problem with my electronic flasher and LED tail lights. The flasher worked perfectly with the engine off and went nuts with the...

Re: Temperature Gauge Leak

So far, my car idles at 160 degrees, and drives around 170. I have a new radiator from Bratton’s, and a new Vintage Precison water neck that came with a 160 thermostat.

Re: Temperature Gauge Leak

The O ring was only a temporary fix.

I ordered the gauge you cited, and it works like a champ. No mess, no fuss. It just works. Thanks for the tip.

Can you share the YouTube links on the forum as well? I’m interested in the process.

Re: Pop Out Switch

Based on what I read and the size of the base of the metal stem, I envisioned cutting the entire old stem, including its base, out of the tube. That would have been an expensive mistake because that...

Re: How do you install a metal valve stem?

The previous owner had them installed before I bought the car. They look nice, but are they any better than rubber stems?

Re: How do you install a metal valve stem?

I found the description on the web site, but installation still doesn’t make sense to me. You actually cut out a good rubber stem to use these?
