Re: Brattons window felt. Please advise

Walt has retired. He may still be there occasionally, but you will probably need to talk to Debbie or Jeff.

Re: Prayers for Don Rogers

Best wishes to him. A pretty routine surgery these days, so he should be fine after his recovery.

There was a chicken truck at Hershey a couple of years ago on a mid 50's Ford truck chassis.

Re: 24 or 25?

Thank you very much, Herm and tmodelman. By the fenders, I think it is a 24. I need to reduce the size of my photos of the fenders in order to publish them.

Thanks to everyone for their help. ...

Re: 24 or 25?

It is a pretty good survivor. I am going to do little more than it needs to be safe and roadworthy.

That will be quite a bit, as the wood on one side needs replacing and there is some body work...

Re: 24 or 25?

I was going down the SN path until someone pointed out some 25 parts to me. Without a title, it is hard to know for sure, hence the interest in trying to nail that down. Maybe I am worrying too...

Re: 24 or 25?

Right, but the car has a number of 1925 characteristics, as outlined in my initial post.

Re: 24 or 25?

I should have mentioned that it is a coupe. This isn't a great photo. It is from the garage before I removed the car. You can see the band Redmodelt talked about. I can't tell whether it is a 24...

Re: MTFCofA forum

I signed up and it said I would get an e-mail to confirm, but I never got one. I tried again today. Problems with new software rollout, most likely.

24 or 25?

I bought a Model T in the fall that had been in a garage since 1964 or so. It did not have a title, so in the process of getting it titled, I wanted to figure out what year it is? The engine is a...

Re: 1940 Ford Family Owned Coupe

Great car. A buddy of mine in high school had a 40 deluxe, all original. I rode around a lot in one of the jump seats in the back.

Re: Still no Tom

Women can get us sidetracked, can't they? It happens to all of us at one time or another. For some guys, it is a regular occurrance.

Re: Preservation vs Restoration

I wish there were more photos. It looks pretty good, but that price seems quite reasonable. I vote for preservation, but it really depends on what you are starting with. You are in the same state,...

Re: Battery in wrong

My roadster came with the battery installed backwards, with negative to ground. It ran fine. I installed a LED tail ight and it wouldn't work. That is when I discovered it was in backwards and...

Re: elling my stash

"We're just moving and will have a larger shop; which will be good to go through stuff and hopefully downsize somewhat."

Moving is a great motivator to get rid of stuff. I am a pack rat and my...

Re: LED tail light kits

I have used the single bulb replacement and the LED arrays. I installed the array in a 28 drum tail light, but I had to remove the STOP stencil in order for it to fit. Both work fine, although I...

Re: Who designed he Model T engine

A great book to read is My Forty Years with Ford by Charles Sorenson. It is not in print anymore, but you can buy and electronic version. Cast Iron Charlie's view of the history of Ford, but it is...

Re: Self respect

I am reasonably trim, but not small. If the car is not up in the air, I barely fit under the cars on a creeper. I put cardboard on the floor and lie on that. Works great. I wish I had room for a...
