Re: Adding an electric fuel pump

This thread is perfect timing, I've actually been tinkering with my fuel system the last few days. I've read so many gas siphoning back to the tank.... carb leaking into the intake.. bad fuel pump...

Re: Missing 1942 Marmon Herrington Dump Truck

I ended up breaking down and using another body, the amount of sheet metal work it was going to take to fix my snowgo cab would have taken me forever. I still have all extra parts.

The front...

Re: 1942 Marmon Herrington Tires

Very limited gear selection for those axles. You probably have 6:67 gears. I wouldn’t try different size tires unless you take the front drive shaft out. You could do this just to test if the road...

Copper packing material for oil seal?

I was working on my hydraulic pump\ram (GarWood dump box) for my 42 last night to try and stop the oil seepage around the input shaft. It's not much, but figured since it was on the work bench i'd...

Re: Macs antique parts closing

Maybe I've had a bad experience, but I've only called Joe's once. Basically if I didn't have a part number the person on the phone couldn't help me. I haven't called back since.

Re: 42 ford truck cab door locks

Just got back from traveling, you are 100% correct. Pulling driver side handle towards you opens the door. Pushing the handle away clunks into into a forward position that locks the outside handle....

Re: 42 ford truck cab door locks
