There are several H & H engines in our club and H & H has been really good about standing behind their product.

Re: Touring with other Model A's - How does your club communicate

Our club uses the Family Radio Service (Motorola Talkabout 2-Way Radio's). With some cell phone back-up. It is common for us to tour in areas with no cell service.

Re: Hello from Oregon!

NWRustJunk,
My advice:
1. Join a local club.
2. Join one of the national clubs (MAFCA or MARC).

Re: When is it time to sell?

Davey Mc,
I have a different approach. Maybe adjust your expectations. Take cleanliness, most cars really only need to be washed once or twice a year. I know some could not stand to do this, but...

Re: Synchromesh or Overdrive

Gary,
Of our 4 Model A's, the set up I like to drive best is a very stock car with a Michell overdrive. One of our A's has a Mitchell transmission & Michell overdrive, another has a '39 Ford...

Re: 1930 Model AA- What is it?

I love it the way it is. If it were mine, I'd get it running, do whatever mechanical repairs needed to make it safe and then drive it & have fun. I love the things in my life that remind me of how...

Re: FSI distributor issue

I think Corley is being to humble. Friday, when I was at his house, he lifted a spark plug wire while Elvira was running and I think it made a 2 inch jump. I was really impressed!

Re: New model A'ers must haves

1. Join a Model A club, if no "A" clubs are near by find an old car club.
2. If you tour, carry a copy of one of the national club rosters.
To me those are more important than tools or parts....

GAV = the choke knob also turns. To start twist it counter clock wise 1360 degrees. After the engine start turn it clockwise 270 degrees.

Re: 1931 a truck

Denis45700,
If you are new to Model A's, my first suggestion is to find & join a Model A club. I worked for the Uncle Sam and moved a lot; I know there are a lot of good clubs out there.
