You may have to round of the edge's of the linning, so it dont grip and causing a lockup.

As i understand it is was use a short while, and then dropped for the riveted version, much cheaper to manufacture.

ive been using well clamped copper line from the tank to the firewall, for 30 + years.
No problems at all. The this is to mount the copper line so it dont vibrate, and clamped to teh frame it wont.

The fourcylinder engine is longer than the V8.
So the gearbox is situated a bit back compared to the V8
So you need to use a V8 transcover for the V8

I can see where you comming from, i think between 32-34 its 2" per side.
Anyway i will use 33-34 center and 33-34 left axel housing, so i will get a "original" look alike axle.

Ok , so it is a 33-35 axle housing cut towards the center instead of the outer end.
And fitted to the Columbia housing

Yesterday i went down south to Ljungby all Ford Swapmeet.
Its not big but its good
Did som good buys, but when i got to the end there was a friend that helped to sell of some parts from a Ford guy...

No Its not a 97 since it does not say 97 on the side, But all rebuild kits will work with it.

Unless you are into namedropping it will work very well.

yes its a 1939-1948 master cylinder.
And its stromberg carb, so the rebuild kit will work.
