I used my porta-power jack and pushed the axle out from the motor mount on passenger side!

Is there a location diagram showing where these screws go that came in the trim package for a 1931 Slant Windshield Town Car? Anyone maybe have any ideas. Thanks.

My generator would motor but not charge. Tom Wesenburg led me thru my problem. The insulator on the output post was on the wrong side and not letting the field coils ground.

Generator Question

I have a fixture set up to check Generators as if they were running on a car. I have a Generator that shows excellent charge, a 110 motor turns it clockwise looking at the pulley. The same Generator...

I had shifted it a few times in all gears and it seemed fine. Then it locked in high after a short run.

My Model A started sometime ago clutch chattering. If I didn't ease the clutch peddle out it would just shake my pickup in reverse something terrible.
I have the engine out and removed the pressure...

Jacked up the drivers side rear wheel, put a piece of tape at the 6 o'clock position. Put a mark at the 12 o'clock position on the drive shaft splined end.
I then turned the rear wheel forward one...

This is the one that I made like the one pictured on ebay. It works real well on Model A and also on the 40-48 Ford rear hubs.

I just finished soldering one of mine. My Dad taught me to use Muriatic Acid the kind that you can clean pools with. He gave me a couple of zinc canning jar lids that you cut up small little pieces...

Have been using one since the late ninety's with no problems. If i remember right you had to work a bit to get it inside the horn. Yes the Bratton's one is like what I bought from Snyder's years ago.

Take your shoe off and step on your running board in your sock feet. This will let you know where your usual step is on the running board!
