The point I was really trying to make was can the sending unit be removed and replaced through the access hole?

Climbing in my rumble and closing the lid to access the sending unit in my coupe Is a lot of fun! Not.
Can the sender be removed in the car?

I guess what I am trying to say is….does the hubcap push on the tire cover just like you would install it on the actual wheel. Or..does it push through the tire cover to the wide five wheel?

The hubcap should fit over the tire cover.

Thanks for the welcome. So obviously my pitman arm was not installed correctly and should be removed to align with wheel key. Then shorten the drag link. Have I got that logic right? Thanks
