To provide a link go to the page you want to show and then copy what is in the address bar. On a MAC the copy command is "command C" and to paste it the command is "command v" For a PC use "cntl"...

Re: So when would my car actually have been made?

My older copy of the Judging Standards says "may be as long as three months after the engine was produced...". Depend on where the vehicle was assembled it could have been a couple of days.

Re: Motor with no serial number

The oil filler tube on the Model B was in the same location as the oil filler tube on the Model A. A very few tubes used on the early Model B's were the same diameter as the model A but longer. ...

Re: So when would my car actually have been made?

It is my understanding that the practice used to be when you replaced the engine you notified DMV of the number from the replacement engine and they updated the registration, thus you cannot draw any...

Re: 1931 USA made brake light switch issues.

Here is the one from A&L which I assume Bratton's is selling as their high quality switch. Note the brass bushing at each end of the shaft. Does yours have these brass bushings, maybe they sent you...

Re: 1929 closed cab pickup restoration

For the back rest bolts try Mack products at http://mack-products.com
They do a lot of truck parts. You might have to call them, I didn't see anything on their website.

Re: 5/16" id or 3/8" id fuel hose?

I hate to disagree but the bigger the diameter the less the pressure drop.

Re: 32-34 4 cylinder motor.

I always liked the look of the Thomas speed equipment for a flathead. The head and intake is reproduced. Narrow down what you are looking for. Original parts, repro of original, flathead,...

Re: B Motor problems

My first choice would be a Model B or early V8 flathead. If I was considering a late model 4 cylinder engine I would look at the 153 cubic inch Chevy II engine and the engines that were developed...

Re: 1931 Fenders on RPU

You should have added "if the '31 has a wide bed". If the '31 has the narrow bed the fenders are the same as coupe, roadster.

Re: v8 ford foundation

The only time there would be a problem with "any" manifold would be if you had an early block with the rectangular boss on the left side it should have an early manifold.

Re: v8 ford foundation

You might want to post pictures and get second opinions. There were early (on left) and late manifolds (on right), what is the approximate date of your engine? The fan is the same as the 2 blade,...

Re: 1931 Model A Serial Number

Assuming the vehicle was manufactured in the United States the serial number should start with a star and the the letter "A" followed by 7 digits and a second star. Contact the seller and ask where...
