Very nice! My Dad built a Pietenpol back in the 60s (used a Continental A-65) I still have the plans and thought of building one someday. Car engines in aircraft scare me a bit but this would help.

Did you rebuild the rocker assemblies? a worn shaft will make the rockers hard to adjust because the rocker wont always reat in the same place. Also tip wear can be a problem. Rocker shafts are...

If you have an auto. go with the AOD, adaptors are out there, if you have a manual the T-5 is the way to go. T-5 is what I have in my pickup. BSC in Costa Mesa advertises in Y-Block Mag for AOD...
