Re: 1931 Victoria Door Hinge Mirror

I bought a set of outside mirrors from Berts. Steve sends the pins you need for a Vic. The mirrors will need to have the hinge mounting hole enlarged to accept the slightly bigger pin.

Re: Patina makes this too good to restore?

Love the patina. They are only original once. Good rubber and restored mechanics and electrical with a nice seat, backrest, and windshield and off you go.

Re: Parking brake interchangeable?

All 3 speed Model A transmission cases will accept all towers. However the parts down stream from the handle can be different.

Re: stumped

Sounds like the pressure plate failed. Lucky it happened at home.

You might remove the floorboards and check the clutch action by removing the inspection plate on the clutch housing. It is also...

Who out there has a fix for sagging slant window outside door handles? Can it be corrected without dis-assembling the doors? If not what can be done if you do have to dis-assemble the doors?

Re: Tips for brake floater kit installation?

Modifying that plate is key for Model A front brakes. The shoes will bind on it if it is not modified. I have them on my cars with cast iron drums and can out stop hydraulic brake As.

Re: Model A carpet supplier.

Just received a carpet for my 1930 roadster from Classtique. Professional work and it fit fine. They are a little busy since LeBaron went away. Took two months to receive the carpet.
