center grill bar for 1940 Mercury ?

hoping one of you distinguished gentlemen may have a 1940 mercury center grill divider bar for a 1940 mercury. (the chrome pot metal piece that divides the two grille halves)

thanks for the replys . the more i think about it im sure i ran 3/16 on that 34 i mentioned and just changed the fittings at the front hoses. or maybe even found the right front hoses with the right...

yesterday i did find a chassis enginering kit specifically for the 39-40 merc, which along with the bottom plate has a top frame piece that bolts (or you can weld) to the top of the X member pricey...

Yeah, I looked under tonight and looked just like a regular mount , no extension, after the previous reply’s I thought I missed something, but I guess that brings me back to my original question

main reason i was asking about the split wishbones in the first place is i was wanting to switch to a T5 and thought i may need to split the bones

i need to split the bones on my 40 merc, planning on using the kit that bolts to the frame and provides the transmount area for an automatic (:o ) as well.

Has anyone confirmed the 40 ford kit...

Thanks, and thanks to everyone who helped out ! I had an Argentinian 34 grille along time ago and wondered if this might be something like that as the build quality of this grille kinda made me...

I bought a 40 merc and it had a spare grille that came with it painted black, i figured id strip the black paint of and hope...
