36 Mechanical break upgrade

Are there still kits out there for upgrading mechanical breaks to juice? Or even better disc?

62 Thunderbird convertible

Dad's last project. Bodywork is 95% complete. All done correctly with metal. Convertible top frame complete and power coated. NOS front fenders. Everything is there. I have a clear title in my name.

Spark plug gap?

What should I gap the plugs on my 36 21 stud? I'm having a senior moment, can't recall the proper gap

I just cheked and I don't have them. I have the 2 holes to the left, they hold up the mighty electrical and tech modual under the dash.

Thanks Vic. I found one at Mac's. Mac's description starts out as valve cover gasket then goes on to say inlet manifold gasket. My old eyes just missed it.

Cylindrs all have good compression, in fact the engine only has 1090 miles on it since a total rebuild. (although the rebuild was done in 1976) I've had this baby for a while.(bought it in 1970 for...

More Power out of a 21 stud?

What’s a good way to get a little more power out of the old 85HP 21 stud in my 36’ 5 window? Everything runs pretty good, I just go slower and slower going up these daunting Southern Indiana hills....

Had the 36' in storage the past couple of years. Got it out last weekend, changed the oil, poured gas in the carb, and after a few trys she started and idled like a new one. After it warmed up a bit...
