What is it?
I have an item that I don't know what it is. I think maybe a robe bar but not sure if it would be Model A.

Re: Battery Discharge
So far I'm 2 days in without charging the battery & it is holding at 6.24 volts. I have not been able to produce a drain on the battery.

Re: Battery Discharge
I charged the battery for an hour yesterday & it shows 6.28 volts this morning. So far I have wiggled a number of things & pushed on the brake multiple times & nothing shows a draw. Going back out to...

Re: Battery Discharge
I have not checked the ignition switch. I hope to work through to find the problem rather then start replacing things. Thanks for the hints.

Re: Battery Discharge
The brake light switch will have to be checked again as well. I put a new one on 1 1/2 months ago. A panic stock pulled the old one apart.

Re: Battery Discharge
I've tried the test light & meter between the cable & the mounting terminal & didn't see a light or a draw. I'm starting to wonder about the replacement cutout. More checks tomorrow I think. Thanks...

Battery Discharge
I'm going nuts trying to solve a simple battery discharge problem. I thought the cutout was sticking closed so I replaced it & had the battery checked & was told it was not good. I put a new one in...

Re: 39 Coupe Broken Axle Removal.
Another thing to check on the replacement axle is the fit of the axle key. You want it a snug fit, no loose fit. I had an axle break on our model a about 40 years ago. I figured it was caused by a...

Upper Steering Column Bushing
Has anyone found a good material to use in the upper steering column bushing? I think mine should be replaced since I have some wiggle to the steering wheel. Just enough movement to cause an annoying...

Re: Varnishing Woodie
Sounds like a good life plan woodiewagon46. I hope to get ours done before I leave this earth. Been at it off & on now for over 30 years. Too much keeps getting in the way or should I say greater...

Re: Varnishing Woodie
You're right 41woodie. So far no real answer. I would think that originally the inside of doors weren't varnished, maybe some sealer applied. My concern comes more from the edges of the wood like the...

Re: Varnishing Woodie
Very nice Woodie deuce roadster. Did you varnish it as an assembled body or did you varnish it apart doing all edges & sides? I have to check my back issues of the V8 Times to see the article again....

Varnishing Woodie
What are your thoughts on varnishing all the wood sides of body pieces on a Woodie wagon? It seems I've heard all sides shouldn't be varnished as the wood can't breath.
