back to the electronic distributor ,10 turns out on choke rod needle valve runs good above 1000 RPMS. wont idle yet but that will happen.
I dont know what I did. the coil gets hot but I can hold my...

running 12v neg ground.
blew all the carbs out and rotated them in today same problem reinstalled stock points distributor same problem. I still think I have a large vacuum leak that I cannot find....

I tried 3 carbs all reacted the same! I made sure there was no excess pipe beyond ferrel. ???

1930 stock ModelA out of 20 years dry storage. fresh gas, rebuilt Zenith 2 carb.
New gaskets head and intake/exhaust,carb.
50 pounds compression each cylinder
Strong gas flow.

wont fire

what does the cap jet do? there is a main jet for high speed. does the idle adjustment screw only control air? If so how does fuel get to the throat at Idle?

12 volt coil with resistor
will a 12v coil with resistor send 12v to the points? I don't understand if the resistor lowers voltage or ohms
