Nice 33-34 Ford center section firewall piece. I did patch the center were someone cut out for a distributor as seen in pics, 100.00 plus shipping or picked up here in Montesano, WA.

Jumpers have a good connection, that is not the issue. Thanks for verifying the senders compatibility.

I'm wondering if the wire from the gauge to the sender on the vehicle may be bad or...

I didn't install the sender, I tested outside the vehicle using jump wires for the lead and the ground at the tank, and yes it is positive ground. Then used the jump wires connected directly to the...

I tried to push it out from the back but I don't have anything narrow enough to reach far enough back to push it. Will take it to my local locksmith in the morning to see if he can get it out.
