GM, what size ballast resistor do i need to use with a skip coil? I just got my coil in and cant recall what size skip told me to get.

GM, I just mailed Skip my original coil to do the conversion. I am going to run the Petronix coil for now until I get my skip unit back

I will try a different brand coil and also reroute away from the engine heat just in case.

It’s odd because it only happens on hot summer days here in Texas. That being said, all my other classic...

Sorry for not responding. Yes it’s a aftermarket tanks as the original was horribly rusted after 30+ years. Branded, what you described is exactly my issue.

I found a Ford NOS fuel sending unit for a 1948 Ford panel truck on eBay. Figured the actual sending unit base would work and I would just modify the float arm to work with my 48 Tudor sedan. Not so...

Thanks for clarifying 4dFord. I had been told by others it was a plug with no threads which didn’t seem logical but wasn’t sure. Just ordered the wrench off eBay as well
