Also, '49-'66 (or so) Ford Car wheels had a 2 3/8" center hole, but the
wheels you need, will have to have the bigger 2 3/4" center hole that
Ford Cars started using in the late 60's and newer.

there used to be 10 times more gas stations in my little town back in the
early 60's, and 90 % of them had a mechanic...

That is correct, Dot 5 (silicone) should Not be put into an anti-lock brake
system, as it will get zillians of air bubbles from the fast action...

The Reason new vehicles don't use Dot 5, is because Dot 5 does not
work with the Anti Lock Brake System. The super fast pumping action
of the ABS causes tiny air bubbles in the fluid.

Many old cars sit for long periods of time, and the dot 3,4 and 5.1 all
attract moisture, and if the car sits for long periods, the moisture
tends to rust the system, especially the wheel...

PB Blaster stays wet longer than many penetrants do, and it works good

The WD-40 Rust Release Penetrant spray works pretty good too.

NOT silicone based as dot 5 is..
