Graham the deal fell over can’t say I’m keen on Trade Me first time listing and got messed about downsizing to the beach a couple of toys have to go to match my age ha ha

Sold my 34 Roadster

After importing my 34 from Florida several years ago it is time to move it on the new owner has two 33 Ford Coupes so still to be held by a Flathead fan here in NZ.

Yes Brian is a good bugger he sent me up a phial of fluid for the fuel gauge on my car no charge a couple of years ago we appreciate these helpful folk !!

I have Malllory Unilight fitted for 3 years or more and I use a 3 Ohm coil which seems to match just fine cheers

Fantastic memories racing in the 60s all the Ford V8s that got wrecked stock car racing at Palmerston North Speedway must have been dozens smashed up there.Bring back the 60s I wish!

The electric pump is only used to prime and start the car if it's been sitting a while normally it starts on the mechanical pump maybe I should look at the mechanical pump first always thought they...

Got the Roadster out gave it a wash then Wife and I head into the Port for coffee got 2ks slowly lost power switched the auxiliary electric pump on power back to normal same thing every 2k or so had...

Hope it helps I didn't have an imperial tape our measurements Downunder have been metric for a very long time now but us older folk can still work in feet inches yards miles pounds etc a genuine sign...

Overall the top is 1140mm the sides 349mm at the centre 280mm hope this is what you are looking for as per my 34 Roadster cheers

Geoff correct that's how this one most likely survived as a forestry fire engine until it was buried in a river stop bank and recovered after a big flood interestingly it was in very good condition...

My mate said it's cladd in Half inch plate and yes the engines would have been working hard I hope to get a couple of pictures of it shortly cheers

My mate lives 3 and a half hours away has a number of military vehicles and recovered the vehicle from a river seems his is one of two left certainly unusual?

I just ran into a mate at a swap meet and he has one he is restoring wondered if any out there knew of these apparently around 70 were built Ford V8 Rear Engined sounds rather unique and interesting?

I have reassembled the horn button and refitted it to the steering column it now works just fine if the wire from the button to the bottom is fully insulated and the soldered end makes good contact...

I recently replaced the cork halves massaged a little heavy oil into them all up and running now no issues
