36s and 35s regulators and be tricky. Early ones had 6 mounting door screws to door and were similar (maybe the same as late 1935s). Later ones have 8 mounting screws. Check your doors for the ones...

Installing a solid driveshaft (6-spline) and corresponding driveshaft housing from about a 1937-40 Ford should solve your problem. And yes the radius rod mount will probably need to be adjusted.

From my experience the pass car 33-34 headlite stands and mounting bolts are the same as 35-37 truck and pickup parts. The horn mounting brackets however are different between the two..
