Re: changing oil on 39 for flathead?

There's a video on You Tube where a guy compares the various brands of spin on filters. If you watch it you will avoid Fram filters.

Good one GB. Heard this on "Willie's Roadhouse" the other day and had the same thoughts. I do see a few young flathead guys out here., so there may be some hope.

Re: A new car in the collection- thanks to 34fordy

My first early V-8 when i joined the V-8 Club in 1974 was a '33 fordor. It had a one time repaint , but still had the original interior. It was a great driver.

Re: Drive through Chicago in the early Forties

The 3 wheeler with the C-cab on it looks like a delivery car. The cloth roof is peeling off on one corner. Love the 3 wheelers with the dogs in the back. Early K-9 units.

Do a search for RAL powder coat colors. I believe they are the major manufacturer of powder paint. You can get a chart from them. Get their chart as downloading a chart on the computer will not give...

Check around the Denver area and also call Bert's Model A Shop in the Denver area as they may know of some yards with early cars.

Re: windshield seal on a 46

I usually use the seals from Drake. Don't know who supplies Mac's. The Merc and Ford use the same seal.
