Having some left over is a good idea especially if you are covering the arm rests and some will be used on the metal skirt of the seat bottom if your seat has the skirts.

Hopefully you will physically look at the leather before you purchase it in order to match the color if you have to buy more than one piece. The color can vary from piece to piece. Also inspect it...

Old Fords look great just the way they came from the factory. They also look great with factory paint colors and outside trim. Sometimes they just need to be lowered a little and have dual exhaust....
