Re: 1935 Ford Coupe meassurements , dimentions

Axle distances and bump stops was provided. The rear bump stop in centerline of the axle. Not sure on the front for that year. I guess I'm confused here. The distance between the frame and the axles,...

Re: 3.54 vs 3.25

Man, that is a different world than I was around! Kansas didn't even have a speed limit until the 50s I think. It was what ever you felt was prudent under the conditions. It may have been earlier,...

Re: Head Bolt continually weeping

Maybe it is just terminology, but you keep saying bolts but the photo you posted shows studs with nuts. The only options you have without pulling the studs is a sealer in the coolant. Increasing...

Re: Fram oil supply line suggestions

Disagree with "aren't that effective", but on the other hand, flatheads were driven for years without filters. If you change the oil often it should be fine.

Re: 46 ford rear drum cutting

If you can find someone that has the correct equipment. Because these type of drum/hubs have not been around much sense the 40s - 50s, it will be hard to locate one.

Re: Joes antique auto parts

Not sure where you have been looking/reading, but Joe's is referenced VERY often on the Barn! If not daily, then at least weekly.

Rebuilding the original shocks is not simple, but can be done. ...
