Re: Car ID (non Model T)
Try posting on the "What is it?" sub-forum on the AACA site - it's for all makes and they're pretty good at ID. You have to register but it's free and you don't have to be a member.

Re: Learning To Drive a Model T
I have no advice to offer other than a quote from my uncle (who grew up in the T era), "Ya gotta be a damn octopus to drive one!" :D

Re: 1931 Model A Ford Mail Truck for sale
Yeah, they're not very practical. Sadly, my advanced age and infirmity means dreaming is all I now can do Model-A-wise. But if I was in the market for one and found say, a 29 Tudor (the highest...

Re: 1931 Model A Ford Mail Truck for sale
If one restores cars for a living, they better make a profit at it. If one is a hobbyist, not so much. I'm the latter and I figure I'm doing well to break even. Any loss is just the cost of the...

Re: Rare model A body styles......
Probably the rarest of all, at least for US production - the 1931 Travelers Wagon, a Model A RV. Less than a dozen made - a few replicas but no known original survivors. It was an offshoot of the...

Re: 1930 Sport Coupe Landau Irons
^THIS!^ At least half the pix I see on the net are upside down and/or backward. The passenger side should look like a letter S and the driver's like a backward S - the fake knob should point to the...

...as long as it's a Tudor - Fordor is different. If the visor will work, probably most parts houses have it.

Re: 28 closed cab
Repro passenger visor is available - dunno if it would fit or could be modified to do so. Or maybe a sheet metal cover for your frame could be fabricated.

Re: 1929 Sport Coupe Top Question
When we got our 30 SC, the top was long gone so we got a kit from now defunct L-B. AFAIK, the original 30-31 material has never been reproduced so the kit was tan canvas. I assume it was otherwise...

Re: A and jeep
Left front and right rear look like A but right front does look like a later (smaller) wheel and tire. If so, that could explain the lean. I'm guessing pic is WW2 or later. If so, coupe would be...

Re: 40 Ford Coup back seat question
And what I posted is the brochure nomenclature for dealers selling cars. Presumably both it and the parts terminology were "official Ford publications". I'm not questioning either one, just...
