Re: BA15d LED Headlights

I bought my car that someone else had long ago replaced the stock reflectors, lamps and lenses with a sealed beam kit. When I put an alternator in, I bought halogen sealed beam 6volt lights and ran...

Re: Hello from Oregon!

One thing is for sure. Ask 10 Model A owners what's best for this or that, and you will get 12 answers and a couple maybe's. It's a great hobby.

I agree. Join a club. Best thing I ever did. (other than marrying my wife, who also likes the Model A)

Greetings from SE Washington State.

Re: Installing rear brake drums

Re: Burning Out Ignition Coils

It worked for me. Are you clicking on the link or manually typing in the abbreviated text that the forum puts in the post?

Re: Battery

On the topic of tap water... I grew up in a part of the country where our water came directly out of mountain streams and was probably the closest thing to distilled water one could get. My dad...

Re: Battery

Something odd about being fine one day, then totally zero volts the next. They just don't go to absolute zero. Even if it was totally drained, it should come up to something after a charge. When...

Re: Victoria Australia License Plate Question

To add to the confusion, car registrations are administered by each of the 50 states; All with some variations on a theme. I don't know the legal term of registration versus license plate, but we...

I hope your recovery will be swift. Strokes are nasty stuff. I have only been around the Model A community for about a year and a half, now, but I have always enjoyed your off-handed humor and your...

Re: Brake Adjustment

An interesting point is that in the Bulletins and in Les Andrews, the initial setting of the brake rods of some precise length of 51-7/16 to 51-1/2 is mentioned as if that is some kind of precise...

Re: Report Button

Re: Main drive gear snap ring question.

I just did one. Rather we did one. It took a vice, a punch, hammer, screw driver and some cussing, but got it. Held it steady in the vice with a couple rags to hold it still. One person starting...

I recently bough the main shaft and main drive bearings from Bert's. USA made and they are very nice bearings. More expensive than some of the others, but nice.
