Where do you get front axle parts and steering ends from ?

Chucks Trucks does not show them on his web site .

New tires and still got the shakes .

Question 1942 Marmon Herrington Tires

I wanted to try road pattern tires on the front of the truck as she shimmies at speed but can only get 700x20 here in the UK.

I wanted to go back under the seat as being a dump truck I am trying to get back to the uncluttered look of the chassis .


I suppose being under the seat no one sees it so can be any shape .

Gas tank

I need a replacement under seat Gas Tank for my 42 1 1/2 ton truck old tank there but way beyond repair , full off holes even in top .


Any ideas off supplies.

Cab door handle

Can someone please give us close up picture of the out side door handle for my 42 v8 1 1/2 ton truck . Drivers handle has bust but don't think it is correct and is deferent from pass side.

Bang on that link, I checked out supply 6 volt to gauge and checked earthing, seems to work during warm up so a fitment of the switch type sender that at the moment is missing may do the trick.

Balast resitor.

I was supprised to find ballast resistor on ignition of my 42, thought it was a 70's thing.

Does anyone know the reason for fitting a resistor in the circuit .

reused military switch in the end so can power up tac lamps , still plenty to do though.;)
