always use the correct grease
its called water pump grease
i used to use a clear(amber) water pump grease and it was more like wax
otherwise ordinary chassis grease will coat the inside of your...

since they are forgings ,I think the dies would have to be different
Im very familiar with the Model A size,but have maybe ten of the smaller size ,and have been told they...

I have been cleaning some shock absorber bolts and found several i dont know which car/year they fit
the first and largest head is obviously a model A,but what do the two smaller sized headed...

IF you have to remove the head bolt to remove the cable make sure you drain the water from the radiator and block
IT WILL LEAK PAST THE HEAD BOLT

be aware that some early 30s had some bolts holding the side of the band to the firewall ,in addition to the bottom ones

i dont think you can buy american tubes
ive had the same problem
they are a safety hazard
best find some old US made ones even if they are used
they are much better

i just replaced 4 rubber valve stems
they were cracked all the way around
i tried to get the local tire shop to replace them and they refused as the tires were over 10 years old
so i had to do it...
