Re: Turn signals

I used Turnswitch also. Like the features and pretty straightforward installation.

Re: Sheet metal repair panels

I purchased lower door patch panels (inner and outer) and lower rear cab patch panel from Mac's a few years ago. Fit pretty well. Got bed sheet metal from Mack Hils - top notch.

Old Book by Page'

Picked up this old book at a local farm auction this weekend. I know many of you probably already know about it, but I found it to be an interesting addition to my modest collection of EFV8 stuff.

Re: Need recommendation for Headliner kit.

I installed a Cartouche kit (headliner, door panels, kick panels, etc.) from Macs in my 1938 PU. (At the time, LB told me they did not provide kits for pickups.) Reasonably pleased with results. ...

Re: Anyone install seat beats in a 1940 Stock PU

I'd like to install lap belts in my 38 pickup. What did you end up using and where did you buy them?

Re: Looking for 1936 ford truck floor mat

After considering various options and hoping that a custom fit option would emerge (to no avail), I went with the "V44023 Rubber Floor Mat w/No Holes w/Backing" from Mac's for my 38. After preparing...

Re: Front end alignment on my 38

It will be difficult to line everything up without the old frame, inner fenders mounted, radiator supports installed, and the grill loosely fitted. Front sheet metal looks pretty solid. Good luck.

Re: 38 Pickup Front Fender

My fenders do not have the corresponding hole. I think we can chalk it up to some sort of running production change. Or maybe Henry just wanted to save the cost of an extra bolt. Thanks to all.

38 Pickup Front Fender

My front fenders mount to the cab with two bolts and cag nuts. There is a third bolt hole near the base of the cab, but there is no matching hole in the fender. I can't remember what was there, if...

Re: 48.....8-n ground cable

My 8N is the same as 50droptop's picture. FWIW: I also have a 2N and a 9N. That's about three "Ns" too many. :)

Re: Confused...39 Pickup rear fender brace part #s???

I purchased a set for my 38 pickup from C & G - Part Number 81C-16341 back in April - $66 with shipping and handling. Fit perfectly. Bought the mounting kit from Roy Nacewicz - Part Number H-85-24.

Re: Front spring shackle replacement

I took weight off and then used a 4-ton porta-power with V adaptor on each end. Although I would recommend a spreader - safer.

Re: Spoon accelerator pedal I.D. please.

My 38 looks just like your 39. I'd say the extra is bent for some reason or other like you said. But I'm sure others might have a better idea.
