The cab mounts has wood blocks, (there are Three different sizes), between the frame and the cab. I bought my bolts thru the local hardware.

Re: 1940 ford pickup steel read fenders

Fenders mount differently at the running board area,( I think there are repair panels that you can buy to make this work), and you would need to add "hole" for the gas filler.

Re: Ford Pickup Wheels

Hard to find now, but....57/8 Chrystler Imperial used a 15" wheel. The stock Ford hub caps snaps on by using early Plymouth hub caps clips, riveted on, but easily chiseled or ground off.

Re: 1946 ford pickup

67 thru 72 1/2 ton Ford rear ends are a bolt in. Buy the aftermarket frame shock mount brackets, drill the frame for them and your on your way.

Re: 1946 ford truck

The 1 1/2 ton fenders will bolt up, just beware of the larger opening.

Re: Half Ton Pickup Rear Fender Shape Change

40/41 @ 42/7 Ford truckrear fenders are similar, but will not interchange. The 48 truck was the first to use the "box" type fender
