Re: 1939 Pickup Front Fender Welting Question

Do any of you have a source for the bumpers that go in the holes on the cab that the hood sides go up against? They are pictured in 39 Portlander's first post in the last picture.

Re: 36 Car Headlight Buckets

If you are talking about whether the 36 passenger headlight was used on the 36 pickup/truck, the answer would be no. The 1935 passenger bucket and the 36 passenger bucket were dimensionally the same...

Re: Stainless steel Fords going to auction

Back when the DeLorean came out, there was a dealership in Houston. They had two that were painted. The story was that there was a shop in Houston that would paint them for around $2000. I remember...

Re: Wide Five Spare Tire Holder

Timstruck….The 35-37's used the same running boards with the 35/6 additionally using the same bed and pretty much the same frame. The different spare mounting rods for the 35 and the 36/7 will mount...

Re: Wide Five Spare Tire Holder

The rod part of yours is for a 35 pickup or panel. The correct 36 bar like piece also fits a 37 and does not have that bend at the top. The correct 36/7 bar has an "eye" in the middle and an "eye" at...

I am glad that they postponed Charlotte instead of simply cancelling it and keeping the money. It remains to be seen if they will have it in June, either. I hope so. It's always good to see old...

For decades I collected. After I retired, I started selling the stash of parts that I was unlikely to use, keeping what I needed for my own projects, slipping up a time or two and now I have to find...

Re: HF 2 ton alum. jack, good, bad, indifferent ?
