i did check the temperature it was 140-160 f. the coolant seams to stay at the top of the radiator tubs. i thought about the head gasket but wanted other opinon's

i just discovered something. i spread out the field coils in a flat line and applied 6 volts to the coils. then took my compass and checked the polarity on each coli and all checked north. here comes...

yes i did clean the varnish from the magnet wire before i soldered them together. could there be that i am missing a wire connected to the field terminal to the battery post at the commentator brush...

well guy's i don't know what to tell you. the only thing that i could get to work is the paper clip tool. it did produce heat but not on all the bars. dose that indicate a problem? my milt-meter tool...

Yes i tester the rotor on a growler.i checked from commentator bar to bar, i checked continuity from commentator bars to the stack lams with no fault, i checked for internal shorts with no faults.
