Re: Pulling engine and transmission...can I put both in cradle?

The transmission will hang on the back, no problem. You don’t need to support it.
The engine weighs enough to keep it on the cradle with out support.
I do it all the time.

Re: Model t center door 1915-value?

They made less than 1000 True 1915 Center Door Sedans. They are a one year only Model
and have some very different features than the later ones. They are almost a prototype
And are very rare.
I...

Re: Over Drive

Yes on all the above, plus if you live in an area with hills its great to overdrive 2nd gear
going thru the twisty stuff.
Also add a high compression head at the same time, you will love your car.

Re: The Old Opportunity Motor

After the shake and bake I take a very small ball peen hammer and tap around on the block, you can hear the thin spots.
I’ve used a sonic checker and the ball peen as the sonic checker some times...

Re: What is the price of a rebuilt flathead??

What Rod is describing sounds like a freshen up not a complete rebuild. A $1500 to $2200
Motor at best.
We are out in California and it costs $6500 to build a stock Flathead with all good parts....

Re: Where to get the best quality pistons/rings for my A?

100IH,
You were looking in the wrong section or catalog. They still make pistons for a Model A
but they are made in Mexico now as well as most of their other cast pistons.
