Re: How similar is 37 car and 38 pickup cowl vent hole?

Thank you Deuce.

I got lucky. His measurements were so close to mine that I chanced it and drove to check it out. I have no way of knowing for sure it was from a 38 pickup but my vent lid fit and...

How similar is 37 car and 38 pickup cowl vent hole?

I have found mixed information about the cowl vents. So asking the experts if a 38 ford pickup cowl vent hole could be used as a donor for my 37 sedan?
Thanks,
Don

Re: 1937 Ford Tudor Seat mounts?

Thanks nospartsman. I assume those are spot welded on like the 34. I will have to fab something up. Maybe time to think about seat belts as well to make the wife happy.

Re: 1937 Ford Tudor Seat mounts?

Nospartsman, That would be terrific if you could shoot the front seat mounting area. Thanks!

Re: 1937 Ford Tudor Seat mounts?

I wish the guys that removed old floor would have kept it for me. I swear they don't let anything lay more than 24 hours.

I guess I will weld some kind of support system under the floors before I...

Re: 1937 Ford Tudor Seat mounts?

Thanks Jseery. I have similar issue on my 34 coupe so your pics really help. I wasn't sure if they were full width. I will probably have to fab something.

1937 Ford Tudor Seat mounts?

I had the floor replaced in my 37 and now realize that any brackets or braces that the seat would have bolted into are long gone. I looked in my EV8 37 Restoration book but can not find what would...

Re: Off Subject, But May Come In Handy...

Yeah, can't wait to try that with 130AH 10 inch lithium batteries we have stacked on a pallet.

Re: Does lack of an 800 Telephone number deter ordering from parts houses?

I have talked to you a few times in the past when I bought my fenders and never really thought one way or the other about whether it was a 800 number.

Re: 1937 Tudor interior

Zeke, I am curious how the upholstery attaches on the door posts. Do you have an idea? Mine had some little wooden blocks glued in that are not original. What is yours like?

Re: McCulloch Supercharger Intake

I tripped over something in Dads garage but it was a steering pump from a 73 Ford :-(

Re: 37 Tudor interior

Zeke, you have come a helluva ways on this. My seats were redone so I can't help you there. I sure need to get more progress done on mine.

I have the Winfield and I couldn't believe how well it worked! I tried all the other solutions posted here and finally bought the tool. I swear as I was tightening up the puller in preparation for...

Re: 1937 Ford vs. 1957 Chevrolet

I have had both a 57 chevy 2 door and a 37 Tudor. My wife and I still like the 37. When I see 57's at the car show I never feel any regret that I sold it. We like older style upholstery and the old...

Re: Wide 5 rims

Thanks! I guess I will leave them in the shop. The wife likes the look of the whitewalls and the hubcaps anyway. The spare still has the tire store sticker on it.

Re: Wide 5 rims

Wow, my 5 nice 37 standard wheels and hubcaps might be worth a little more than I thought.

Re: What are the odds its still good?

I also figure that the antifreeze itself would break down. I need to get up there by July. I had figured on taking off what I can. It would be quite a chore to actually retrieve the engine and get...

I was...

Re: Yet another horn rod question
